About me
Stephanie Bernal joined Bonnet Springs Park in 2022 as the Community Engagement Manager and was promoted to Director of Events in 2023 to oversee the Education Department and Events team. In that time, she has developed and directed more than 50 Community & Special events, as well as 10 Signature Events, which welcomed more than 200,000 total guests.
Before joining the opening team at Bonnet Springs Park, Stephanie created and directed an art-focused events brand that supported a network of more than 200 performers, creative entrepreneurs, and artists through the curation of community spaces and production of pop-up makers’ markets, block parties, and art showcases.
Stephanie was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and spent the years leading up to her relocation to Lakeland surrounded by a strong family and steeped in the local art and music scene, while developing her career through work in investment management and real estate sales, volunteering with nonprofits to address housing insecurity and childhood development barriers, and leading various civic engagement projects.
