Moriah Casey
Moriah Casey is the Education Manager at Bonnet Springs Park, an urban nature in the heart of Lakeland, Florida. She leads the development of inclusive, place-based educational programs that connect visitors of all ages to the natural environment.
Moriah holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Masters of Special Education. Before transitioning to informal education, she spent five years teaching in a self-contained classroom with the Polk County School Board. She is endorsed in Gifted Education, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Reading, and English Speakers of Other Languages, with a strong focus on differentiated and accessible learning strategies.
Passionate about equity and inclusion, Moriah has served as an accessibility advisor for educators across Central Florida and continues to expand accessibility initiatives at Bonnet Springs Park. Her work emphasizes environmental education that is welcoming and engaging for all learners.
Outside of her professional role, Moriah enjoys reading in her plant-filled Florida room, exploring vintage shops, and birding along Florida’s scenic trails.
