About me
Lore Nix is a recent graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Biological Sciences and a passion for cultivating the next generation of environmental stewards. She currently works at the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center in Freeport, Florida as an educator and botanist. Drawing on her background in field botany research, she incorporates place-based learning and local ecology in her research interests. She focuses on how story-based learning and indigenous pedagogy intertwine to enhance science communication for young learners.
